As part of the mass rituals at Sacred Heart Church, the mass is celebrated after extraordinary form every Sunday at 6 pm. The Latin Mass after extraordinary form was codified by Pope Gregor The Great for 1400 years ago. Pope Benedict wanted at his motu proprio Summorum Pontifikum from 2007 that this Mass would be more accessible to the believers.

The practical work behind these mass’ is mainly done by Saint Karl Borromæus Group, who is an informal association of Catholics with the desire to be able to participate in the mass after extraordinary form.
